the client is seeking an inaugural Director to lead the launch and growth of its Orange County hub. This role will provide strategic direction, ensure programmatic excellence, and drive sustainable growth of the organization’s local presence. The Director will champion the organization’s mission locally, expand reach by cultivating community connections, and engage diverse Jewish audiences through impactful service.
The Director will build and sustain partnerships with local Jewish and service organizations, manage the annual programming calendar, lead Service Corps cohorts, and engage alumni to mobilize peers in ongoing service and learning. The position is expected to include facilitating program opportunities that blend hands-on service, issue-area education, meaningful Jewish learning, and reflection, while also contributing to recruitment across programs.
The Director will develop and execute local program strategy and oversee Service Corps and a Service Ambassador program that enables young Jewish adults to facilitate meaningful service for their peers. The role includes supervising program staff and coordinating with internal teams to align on program goals, provide updates, troubleshoot challenges, and offer feedback. The ideal candidate is an experienced experiential Jewish educator who is committed to strengthening community collaborations.
