Description

The client is seeking a visionary Director to lead the Eli Coleman Institute for Sexual and Gender Health (ISGH), an academic institute focused on advancing sexual and gender health through research, clinical innovation, education, and public policy. The Director will hold an endowed academic chair in sexual health and will provide strategic leadership that reflects a sustained commitment to this critical field.

This is a tenured or tenure-track faculty position at the Associate or Full Professor level, within the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. The Director will set and execute a bold, inclusive vision for ISGH and oversee internationally recognized clinical services, a dynamic research portfolio, innovative educational programming, and policy engagement. The role is expected to champion equity, justice, and scientific rigor while building partnerships across disciplines, sectors, and communities to drive meaningful impact on health outcomes for populations across Minnesota and beyond.

Required qualifications include an earned PhD, MD, or equivalent doctoral degree; evidence of leadership in the field of gender and/or sexuality; demonstrated potential to obtain federal or other peer-reviewed funding; and an established track record of scholarly activity, including publications and presentations. Preferred qualifications include experience working in an academic healthcare setting.
