The Director of the Futures Institute at Wilson College will work closely with the Internal Governing Board and Academic Director to provide strategic and operational leadership for the Institute. Responsibilities include advancing the mission of the Institute, setting strategic priorities, and overseeing student programming. The Director will manage all aspects of the Institute's operations, including program planning, financial stewardship, and staff leadership. They will also collaborate with faculty to develop new academic and co-curricular initiatives, such as a certificate in Futures Thinking and Social Innovation.In addition to overseeing the Institute's operations, the Director will work to enhance its reach, relevance, and reputation through partnerships and initiatives. They will lead the annual Future of Canada symposium, host distinguished guests, and collaborate with the External Director to expand student opportunities and strengthen the College's public profile. The Director will champion the Institute, College, and University, while also promoting excellence in academic and non-academic activities and ensuring the quality of programs and initiatives within the Institute.
