The Director, Finance will work closely with the CFO to oversee financial reporting, internal controls, and cash flow management for a group of subsidiary organizations. This role involves managing a team of approximately 30 individuals in accounting, finance, and support roles, with a focus on skills development, mentorship, and capacity enhancement for staff members, including Inuvialuit Beneficiaries. The Director will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, implementing and maintaining internal controls, and optimizing cash flow management to support the organization's financial health and growth.In addition to overseeing day-to-day financial operations, the Director will play a key role in strategic financial planning and decision-making, working closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance and achieve organizational goals. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience managing teams and developing staff members.
