The Director, Finance reports to the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer and is responsible for overseeing the finance function of our client. This includes managing accounting activities, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. The Director leads a team of eight individuals to ensure our client's financial processes and systems are operating effectively and in compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies. They play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making at all levels of the organization. Additionally, the Director collaborates with senior leaders to integrate financial considerations into strategic planning and decision-making processes.As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director contributes to enterprise-wide decision-making and ensures financial planning, performance monitoring, and accountability are strengthened across our client. They work closely with executive leaders and departmental directors to align financial priorities with organizational initiatives. In the absence of the CFAO, the Director may be required to act on their behalf.
