The position also entails leading a national service organization dedicated to maintenance, repairs, and exemplary customer support. Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders such as clients, partners, authorities, and regulators is crucial. The General Manager is expected to build and lead high-performing teams with an emphasis on talent development and succession planning. Ensuring full compliance with Danish regulatory requirements, company policies, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards is essential for this role.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelors or masters degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or a related field and have significant general management or operations experience in the electromechanical sector. They should have a proven track record in leading integrated production, installation, and service businesses and exhibit strong profit and loss (P&L) and commercial acumen. Experience in the building and construction sector, particularly with products such as HVAC systems, elevators, lifts, automation, or building infrastructure, is highly desirable. Fluency in Danish and English is required.
