Reporting to the general management, the role is responsible for downstream oil and petroleum operations, including depots, logistics, distribution, and a network of service stations. The position ensures overall asset performance and the continuity of operations across the full operational chain.

Key responsibilities include defining and deploying the operational strategy for downstream activities; overseeing depot operations, logistics flows, and distribution networks; ensuring infrastructure reliability and product availability throughout the chain; managing operational and economic performance (including volumes, costs, and margins); and developing, optimizing, and managing operating and investment budgets. The role also leads modernization, continuous improvement, and asset development initiatives.

The successful applicant is typically an engineering graduate or equivalent and has at least 10 years of experience in operational leadership within the petroleum sector. They bring strong expertise in downstream activities—depot operations, storage, logistics, and product distribution—ideally including experience with service station networks. The role requires leadership in complex organizations and critical industrial assets, with strong exposure to safety, HSE, and business continuity priorities, along with a demonstrated ability to combine a safety culture, operational vision, and execution to deliver performance in demanding environments.
