In this on-site industrial project director role for a pharmaceutical site, you will be part of the site’s executive committee (CODIR) and work closely with the group leadership. The position focuses on launching new production lines, and you will lead your team through the commissioning of new facilities and the associated qualification phases through to process validation.
You will establish a continuous improvement plan and translate it into day-to-day execution through hands-on management. The role emphasizes sustained quality, optimization, and continuous improvement to ensure that project and operational objectives are achieved. You will also help maintain and restore client satisfaction as needed through effective delivery and performance management.
The client expects an engineering background or a doctorate in pharmacy. You are expected to have significant prior experience leading production operations for sterile products in the context of launching new production lines, including qualification activities and process validation. You should be autonomous, rigorous, and methodical, with strong project-mode working skills and an ability to understand processes and visualize future organizational structures.
