The client is seeking a Digital Director to help grow its user base and strengthen customer relationships. In this role, you will partner cross-functionally with marketing, sales, engineering, and product, and report directly to the CEO while managing a small customer support and service (CSR) team.
You will identify and refine the most important metrics and KPIs for growth, generate and test improvements using experimentation and A/B testing, and analyze performance data alongside user feedback. You will collaborate across departments to share insights and present results, optimize conversion rates through CRO-focused improvements, and develop or implement front-end web code when needed to launch interactive tools and apps that support marketing goals. The role also includes conducting competitive analyses and market research, proposing and translating new project ideas into actionable initiatives, and staying current on trends and changes in UI/UX and digital marketing.
Qualifications include prior experience as a Growth Hacker or Growth Director in a progressive ecommerce environment, with strong analytics skills and a deep understanding of the cannabis user base and behaviors. The client expects expertise in A/B testing and data analytics, along with programming knowledge to support experimentation and front-end execution. Additional requirements include familiarity with CRO, SEO fundamentals and algorithm updates, domain knowledge of UI/UX best practices, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail; experience with marketing and experimentation/automation tools is also expected.
