The Deputy Registrar will play a key role in overseeing and leading various departments within the organization, including Assessment, Fitness to Practice, and Programs and Allied Health Professionals. They will be responsible for evaluating the performance of physicians, supporting those with health conditions affecting their practice, and overseeing physician extender programs. The Deputy Registrar will act as a representative of the Registrar locally and nationally, providing leadership and oversight in the absence of the Registrar.Reporting directly to the CEO and Registrar, the Deputy Registrar will be a crucial part of the organization during a time of significant change in healthcare. They will be responsible for speaking on behalf of the Registrar, providing leadership across the organization, and ensuring that the vital work is carried out effectively. The Deputy Registrar will be instrumental in driving the organization forward and ensuring that physicians are held to the highest standards of competence and professionalism.
