The client is seeking a Deputy Director for People & Talent and Administration for the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI). CDRI is a global partnership focused on promoting the resilience of infrastructure systems against climate and disaster risks. The Deputy Director will be responsible for leading HR functions, talent acquisition, performance management, employee development, administrative operations, and corporate security. The role aims to build a strategic HR function that fosters a high-performing, globally competitive, and diverse workforce to support CDRI's strategic outcomes.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Deputy Director will play a key role in shaping and executing CDRI's people and administrative strategies. Responsibilities include strategic HR leadership, people and talent management, performance management, organizational development, administrative operations oversight, and corporate security and staff wellbeing. The ideal candidate will have a Masters in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field, along with at least 10 years of experience in HR and administration, including 4 years in a leadership capacity. Professional certifications such as SHRM or CIPD are preferred.
The Deputy Director will work closely with leadership to design and implement a people strategy aligned with CDRI's strategic goals, develop global HR policies, and foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and high performance. They will oversee recruitment, retention, workforce planning, compensation frameworks, and benefits packages, as well as lead learning and development efforts. Additionally, the role will involve supervising office infrastructure, vendor management, facility maintenance, and ensuring compliance with legal and operational standards. Corporate security, staff wellbeing, and emergency response protocols will also be key areas of focus for the Deputy Director.
