Deputy Director, Head of HR Operations will lead HR services across the full employee lifecycle, covering recruitment and onboarding through to HR systems, people data, learning, global mobility, and casework. The role operates at scale and is expected to deliver consistent, high-quality, compliant services while continuing to evolve in a fast-changing environment focused on agility, digital modernization, and high performance.
As a member of the HR senior leadership team, the post holder will set strategic direction, ensure services are well run, and drive continuous improvement through automation and more effective use of data, with a more user-focused approach. The role includes working closely with senior leaders and digital teams to translate HR strategy into practical delivery, and to oversee a large, complex operation that balances performance with ongoing transformation.
The ideal candidate is a proven operational leader with experience leading large service functions or shared services, managing HR systems and data, and delivering change while maintaining service performance. They should be confident influencing at senior level and building strong, high-performing teams.
