The Deputy Director, Finance will report to the Director of Financial Services and Asset Management and provide senior strategic leadership for the Finance Division at our client. This role focuses on ensuring the long-term sustainability, integrity, and effectiveness of financial services, with an emphasis on strategic direction, financial governance, and organizational alignment. The Deputy Director supports the Director in fulfilling statutory responsibilities and acts as a senior advisor on complex financial, accounting, risk, and policy matters, rather than focusing on day-to-day operations.This leadership role requires advanced professional judgment, political acuity, and the ability to align financial strategy with corporate priorities and Council direction.
