The Dean of the Nistler College of Business & Public Administration will report directly to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs and lead a thriving academic unit that includes key departments, schools, and signature programs. Responsibilities include providing leadership, aligning the College with broader strategic planning, academic and administrative planning, budgeting, fundraising, and faculty and staff recruitment and development. The ideal candidate will be a focused and creative leader committed to building upon Nistlers strengths, promoting faculty-driven scholarly endeavors, and fostering communication, excellence, and shared governance.The incoming Dean will join during a period of dynamic growth and improvement, with strong enrollment growth, major campus improvements, and significant investments in research development. The Dean will have the opportunity to enhance the mission of the College, lead through enrollment growth and program expansion, and increase visibility across North Dakota and the region. Building relationships with alumni, donors, and key partners will be crucial as the University engages in capital campaigning and programmatic opportunities to position the College for ongoing service to the state and region.
