The Dean of the College of Sciences and Technology will report to the provost and be responsible for academic planning, program quality, student success, resource stewardship, and engagement with stakeholders. They must have a strong record of leadership, collaboration, and innovation, as well as a commitment to supporting faculty and advancing student success in STEM degree programs. The Dean will also serve as a liaison between faculty, staff, students, and department leaders, providing strategic vision for the college and ensuring academic standards are maintained.In addition, the Dean will be responsible for supporting students throughout their program of study, ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures, and fostering a positive and productive academic environment. They will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to promote the college's mission and goals, while also overseeing the day-to-day operations of the college. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, problem-solver, and team player, with a passion for education and a dedication to the success of both faculty and students in the College of Sciences and Technology.
