The Dean is a key member of our client's senior academic team, serving as the chief administrator of the college. Reporting to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Dean oversees departments and programs within the college, with primary responsibilities including administering instructional programs, fostering an environment conducive to teaching and academic excellence, and developing long-term goals for the college. Additionally, the Dean is tasked with supporting interdisciplinary activities, managing the college's budget, interpreting policies, making personnel recommendations, and seeking external support for the college.In addition to internal responsibilities, the Dean plays a crucial role in cultivating external relationships with organizations, individuals, the community, and government entities. With a focus on promoting diversity and internationalization within the college, the Dean provides effective leadership in these areas. Serving as a representative of the college in both university and community settings, the Dean also carries out other duties as assigned by the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.
