Our client CSUMB is seeking a Dean for their College of Science, a position that will begin in January 2027. The university is known for its commitment to educational innovation and regional stewardship, as well as being a Minority-Serving and Hispanic-Serving Institution. The Dean will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for the College of Science, overseeing academic programs, faculty development, and student success initiatives.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science education, experience in academic administration, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. They will be responsible for fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within the College of Science, as well as building relationships with external partners and stakeholders. The Dean will also be expected to engage with the broader university community and contribute to the overall strategic direction of CSUMB.
