The incoming Dean will play a crucial role in the development of the Gina and Frank Day Health Institute, a new hub that will connect ten academic departments across two colleges. This signature project is set to open in fall 2027 and will include a five-story, 70,000-square-foot Tower on the Auraria Campus. The Institute will feature advanced simulation, clinical education, and interprofessional training spaces, providing a cutting-edge learning environment for students and faculty.The Dean will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and implementation of the Institute, working closely with academic departments, faculty, and staff to ensure its success. This role will involve collaborating with key stakeholders to design and equip the Institute with state-of-the-art technology and resources, as well as developing innovative programs and initiatives to enhance student learning and research opportunities. The incoming Dean will have the opportunity to shape the future of healthcare education and training at the institution, making a lasting impact on the academic community and beyond.
