The Dean of the College of Education is responsible for providing strategic leadership to advance the college's mission and align its priorities with those of our client. This includes developing and executing short- and long-range strategic plans to promote academic excellence, innovation, and growth. The Dean leads the advancement of academic programs across multiple modalities to meet evolving student and workforce needs, promotes continuous curriculum improvement in collaboration with faculty, and fosters interdisciplinary initiatives across the institution and state. Additionally, the Dean oversees all academic centers and student-related operations to ensure a high-quality, student-centered learning environment that supports student success, enrollment growth, and employee engagement.In addition to academic leadership, the Dean plays a key role in advancing the college's research enterprise by supporting external funding efforts, including grants, contracts, and philanthropic partnerships. The Dean also cultivates relationships with alumni, community stakeholders, and partners across educational, public, and private sectors. This includes collaborating with school districts and other K12 partners to support educator preparation, research initiatives, and competitive grant development.
