The Dean will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of academic and administrative functions within the College, including managing academic programs, faculty affairs, budgeting, student success, research, community engagement, fundraising, and strategic planning. This role will involve working closely with various stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, alumni, community partners, and university leadership, to advance the mission and impact of the College. The Dean will also be responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of academic and research programs in areas such as education, public administration, social work, human development, higher education, and community research.Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, the Dean will serve as the Colleges chief academic and administrative officer, providing leadership and direction for the College as a whole. This position will require strong leadership skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups of stakeholders, and a commitment to advancing the Colleges mission and goals. The Dean will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the College and ensuring its continued success in providing high-quality education and research opportunities for students and the community.
