The client is seeking a highly collaborative, innovative, and experienced academic leader to serve as its next Dean for the College of Business, Communications, and Technology. The Dean will provide strategic academic leadership and play a key role in guiding the institution’s strategic direction through clear academic vision, curricular innovation, creative partnerships, and strong engagement with faculty.
The Dean will report directly to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and is expected to navigate the complexities of higher education while aligning leadership priorities with the institution’s Catholic and Dominican mission and values. The role is focused on fostering a values-driven academic community that emphasizes truth, justice, compassion, partnership, and community, and encourages contemplation and reflection that translate into service.
The institution is a private liberal arts setting with a range of academic programs that may include both liberal arts and pre-professional and professional fields. The Dean will support academic programs and initiatives that prepare graduates for meaningful service, including through faculty collaboration and broader engagement with the campus community, welcoming individuals of all faith traditions and those who do not practice a faith.
