The Dean will report to the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost and will be responsible for providing leadership to the College during a critical period of transformation. Key responsibilities include guiding the college through initiatives focused on student success, research growth, and academic innovation, as well as recruiting and retaining faculty, managing the budget, and advancing new academic programs. The Dean will also represent the College in university governance bodies and external forums, advocating for the College's achievements and impact.The next Dean will focus on priorities such as reaffirming the value of liberal arts education, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, strengthening research infrastructure, and enhancing enrollment and student success. Additionally, the Dean will work to foster a culture of trust within the College, address financial and structural challenges while maintaining academic quality, and expand community engagement and partnerships in alignment with the University's Strategic Vision 2030.
