The Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at NDSU will be responsible for overseeing all academic programs within the college, as well as managing faculty and staff, budgeting, research, and student success initiatives. This individual will also serve as the primary advocate for the college both on campus and in the broader community. Reporting to the Provost, the Dean will be a key member of the Deans Council and the Presidents Leadership Assembly, contributing to strategic decision-making at the university.The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in academia, with experience in leadership roles within a higher education setting. They should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion within the college. The Dean will be expected to work collaboratively with other university leaders to advance the mission and goals of our client, while also fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for students, faculty, and staff within the College of Arts and Sciences.
