The client seeks an accomplished, visionary academic and administrative leader to serve as Dean of the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at a pivotal point in the institution’s evolution. The client is pursuing a transformation toward becoming a nationally recognized, globally engaged research and education enterprise, and the Dean is expected to advance this vision by building on the College’s long-standing legacy while positioning pharmacy education, research, and industry engagement at the forefront of innovation.
The Dean will provide leadership for a College that supports research, education, and economic development connected to the emerging biotech corridor, with strong alignment to interdisciplinary research priorities including One Health, Innovative Cures, Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence, Resilient Communities, and the Future of Business. The role is also expected to strengthen synergies with related health and life sciences initiatives, contribute to the growth of the research enterprise, and support strategies aimed at advancing the institution’s overall research standing.
As the chief executive officer of the College, the Dean will oversee academic programs, research, faculty and staff development, student affairs, budget, and external relations. The Dean will lead the development of integrated research, education, and innovation platforms; advance a comprehensive digital health strategy; and strengthen domestic and international partnerships to expand enrollment and research impact, while demonstrating a distinguished record of scholarly and professional achievement, proven administrative excellence, and the ability to inspire and engage a broad community of internal and external stakeholders.
