The client is seeking a visionary academic leader for the role of Dean of the School of Life Sciences within the College of Science. The Dean will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure the school’s smooth functioning and sustainable long-term development, with a focus on advancing teaching, research, and administration.
The Dean will be responsible for leading school-wide affairs, developing strategic plans aligned with the university’s goals, recruiting and supporting top-tier faculty, and fostering an environment that encourages both curiosity-driven and collaborative research. They will also help establish majors and curricula to ensure high-quality teaching and holistic student development, while aligning educational outcomes with national and regional needs.
Additional responsibilities include building an international network of academic partnerships to facilitate collaboration in education, research, and knowledge transfer, and developing partnerships that strengthen industry–academic research collaboration in line with national and regional priorities. The Dean will also implement mechanisms to support fundraising efforts through donations and sponsorships to advance the university’s goals and long-term development.
