the client is seeking a visionary academic leader for the position of Dean of the School of Computer Science and Technology. The dean will provide overarching leadership for the school’s teaching, research, and administration, with a focus on ensuring smooth operations and sustainable long-term development. the client aims to cultivate high-impact research and innovative, interdisciplinary education while strengthening international engagement and knowledge transfer for societal benefit.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategic plans aligned with the university’s goals; recruiting and supporting top-tier faculty and fostering environments that enable both curiosity-driven and collaborative research; and establishing or refining majors and curricula to deliver high-quality teaching and comprehensive student development while aligning educational outcomes with national and regional needs. the dean will also build and expand international partnerships with leading academic institutions to facilitate collaboration in education, research, and knowledge transfer, and will develop industry–academia partnerships that support research collaboration in line with national and regional priorities.
The dean is expected to implement effective mechanisms to secure donations and sponsorships supporting the university’s objectives and long-term development.
