The client is seeking a new Dean of the School of Business Administration. The role calls for a visionary, strategic, and collaborative leader who will shape the school’s success, growth, and future trajectory by ensuring its business programs are academically excellent, aligned with professional and global needs, and delivered in ways that are convenient and accessible for today’s students.
The Dean will provide leadership to create and communicate a shared vision across teaching, student achievement, scholarship, and service. Key responsibilities include overseeing reaccreditation processes; assessing existing academic programs and developing new ones; promoting and prioritizing faculty recruitment, retention, and mentorship; and leading student success and recruitment efforts, while advocating for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and external stakeholders and strengthening an inclusive culture of belonging.
The Dean reports to the interim Provost and serves on the Executive Team, supporting bi-weekly planning and strategy development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a leadership style consistent with a collegial, collaborative campus culture grounded in integrity and ethical decision-making, and will have earned a terminal degree in business or a closely related field, along with a demonstrated record of scholarship and service that supports appointment as a tenured full professor.
