The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering will report to the Provost and Vice-President (Academic) and will be responsible for providing overall leadership to the Faculty, both strategically and operationally. This includes developing unique, high-quality undergraduate and graduate teaching, learning, and research experiences, fostering industry partnerships in Northwest Ontario and County of Simcoe, and supporting pathways for college engineering technologists to complete an engineering degree. The Dean will also ensure accreditation compliance, be fiscally responsible in resource management, and collaborate with philanthropy to support capital expansion, student success, and community impact.In addition to leadership responsibilities, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering will actively engage in maintaining a strong record of accreditation compliance and be fiscally responsible in the stewardship of resources to ensure transparency and accountability. The Dean will also work closely with philanthropy to support strategic growth in capital expansion, student success, and community impact. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, experience in academic leadership, a commitment to fostering industry partnerships, and a dedication to supporting student success and community impact.
