The next Dean will be responsible for driving growth and innovation within the college by expanding enrollment, strengthening doctoral education, increasing sponsored research, recruiting exceptional faculty, integrating artificial intelligence into engineering education, and fostering partnerships with industry and government. Additionally, the Dean will play a key role in leveraging university investments in projects such as the Missouri Protoplex, Missouri Bioplex, Missouri GeoPlex initiative, and nuclear energy strategy to address national and global needs through faculty expertise, student talent, research capacity, and workforce development.Reporting to the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, the Dean will serve as the chief academic and administrative officer of the college, overseeing undergraduate and graduate education, faculty development, budget management, philanthropic support, and representing the college regionally, nationally, and internationally. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader who can align resources around a bold vision, enhance the college's national reputation, and drive impactful change within the institution.
