the client is seeking a Data Science Director to translate data into actionable strategies for executive leadership. This role will leverage expertise in analytics, financial performance drivers, and operational metrics to uncover hidden trends, correlations, and anomalies, and to propose new ways to interrogate data that can inform high-level decision-making.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, with a master’s degree preferred, along with 5+ years of progressive experience in data science, advanced analytics, or business intelligence. Candidates should have strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance operations and related performance metrics, familiarity with actuarial and management reporting processes, and a proven track record of delivering executive-level insights. Expert proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or equivalent data interrogation tools is expected, along with strong data visualization skills and exceptional communication and storytelling to bridge technical analysis and business clarity.
