A Data Executive role is available to join a growing data team within a well-established marketing agency context (the client). The position offers hands-on experience across campaign delivery, database management, and reporting, with a supportive environment focused on learning, progression, and continuous improvement. It is suited for building early professional experience in data, CRM, or marketing-related settings.
In this role, you will support day-to-day data operations and campaign delivery, working closely with senior analysts and the wider team. Responsibilities include building accurate data lists from campaign briefs, managing email marketing lists (including exclusions and uploads), preparing data for direct mail campaigns, and supporting reporting using charts, graphs, and maps. You will also maintain and cleanse database records, manage bounces and unsubscribes, support ongoing data hygiene, and assist with routine CRM and database administration, while contributing to improved internal data processes.
You should bring practical data experience in a commercial or marketing environment and a strong willingness to learn. Key requirements include strong Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis, confidence working with large datasets and a careful attention to detail, and experience supporting email marketing or CRM-related activities. An understanding of database management and data cleansing is expected, along with good communication skills and a collaborative approach; experience with email marketing platforms such as Dotdigital or Mailchimp (or similar) is beneficial, and basic SQL or CRM platform exposure may be helpful.
