the client is seeking a Data Coordinator (Contract) to support a four- to five-month maternity leave during the busiest pricing season. The role plays a mission-critical part in consolidating and standardizing manufacturer pricing data that will feed the client’s ERP system and underpin distribution and retail pricing for the year ahead. The Data Coordinator will work closely with product line managers and the broader team to ensure pricing data is accurate, consistent, and ready for upload.
Key responsibilities include pulling pricing, costing, unit of measure, weight, and UPC data from a mix of vendor SharePoint sites, buying group portals, and direct manufacturer submissions. The position will consolidate and normalize data from approximately 100 manufacturers into the client’s standardized master and front-end pricing templates, applying consistent formatting, character limits, and pricing rules across diverse inputs, including multi-tier pricing scenarios. It will also build dealer sheets covering MSRP, wholesale pricing, buying group pricing, and pricing terms, while maintaining continuity of established methodology, formulas, and template logic.
The Data Coordinator will support ERP uploads into SysPro and help ensure data integrity through internal validation steps. The role requires advanced Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, CountIfs, table creation, and complex data manipulation across large datasets, as well as demonstrated experience consolidating data from multiple source systems with minimal oversight. A background in product, supply, or pricing data—ideally within distribution, retail, wholesale, or manufacturing environments—is expected, alongside exceptional attention to detail, a structured approach to data validation, strong communication skills, and the ability to quickly step into an established process; experience with SysPro or comparable ERP and familiarity with SharePoint-based vendor data exchange are considered assets.
