The Cybersecurity Manager reports to the Senior Manager, Information Systems and GIS and is responsible for overseeing the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our client's information and systems. This leadership role involves assessing, planning, and implementing information security best practices to ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks and the security of all data. The Cybersecurity Manager is directly responsible for delivering our client's IT security program, including training, corporate awareness, policies, procedures, security breach investigations, and remedial action plans.In addition to managing the IT security program, the Cybersecurity Manager also plays a lead role in compliance and risk management, assisting in the review of Privacy Impact Assessments to ensure compliance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPPA). This proactive and strategic position requires a strong focus on maintaining the security of our client's information and systems, as well as staying up-to-date on cybersecurity best practices and frameworks. The Cybersecurity Manager is a key member of the team responsible for safeguarding our client's data and ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of all information.
