The role is responsible for defining and executing the regional commercial strategy to ensure sustainable growth and deeper market penetration, while building and strengthening market presence across key industrial and infrastructure segments.
Key responsibilities include leading and developing the local sales organization with clear targets and performance management, serving as a senior commercial lead who personally supports strategic accounts, complex and high-value negotiations, and critical opportunities. The role will identify new business opportunities through market analysis and customer engagement, manage the full B2B sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, and grow long-term relationships to improve retention and share of business. In addition, the director will oversee tender processes, including commercial positioning and risk assessment, and collaborate closely with internal teams (technical, operations, and marketing) to support successful delivery.
candidates should have proven experience in international sales leadership roles in industrial or technical environments, with a strong background in cables and/or transformers as an essential requirement. Additional qualifications include a minimum of 15 years of B2B sales experience, demonstrated capability to close complex and high-value deals, and experience managing and developing commercial teams, including structured sales processes in tender-driven environments. The role requires the ability to operate effectively in international and matrix organizations, with Spanish and English required and Portuguese highly valued.
