The client is a European e-bike manufacturer expanding its presence in the United States and is seeking a Country Manager to represent the brand and lead growth efforts in the US market. The role focuses on establishing and developing relationships with key customers, retailers, and partners, while increasing brand awareness and visibility. The Country Manager will also oversee operations and logistics, help ensure customer satisfaction, and develop and execute marketing and promotional campaigns.
The Country Manager will develop and execute a sales strategy to meet revenue targets and drive market growth, building and managing relationships to identify opportunities for collaboration and expansion. Responsibilities include managing logistics and operations to support timely delivery and strong customer service, as well as creating marketing and promotional campaigns designed to increase brand awareness and generate demand. The role will involve monitoring and reporting on market trends and competitive activity to provide insights and recommendations that inform strategy.
Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in sales, business development, and/or marketing, with experience that is typically preferred in the cycling industry. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey the product value proposition and build long-term relationships, along with high organization, a results-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required, along with demonstrated experience in relevant functions, and the ability to travel frequently throughout the US; candidates may be located in or near Denver, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, or Los Angeles, and a passion for cycling and sustainable transportation is a plus.
