the client is a European manufacturer and distributor of premium beauty equipment for professionals, and it is expanding its presence in the United States by addressing the market directly. The client is seeking a Country Manager to lead the commercial organization and sales activities for aesthetic capital equipment across multiple areas throughout the United States.
In this role, you will define the U.S. sales strategy and geographic coverage, build and develop the national sales organization, and ensure market penetration against goals. You will identify key aesthetic and medical beauty clinic or center accounts, drive sales of devices within the territory, and manage the sales process for both new clinic/center acquisition and upgrades of existing customers. Responsibilities also include building and managing sales pipelines, setting pipeline progression and activity expectations, and leading sales managers to plan and execute territory strategies to win opportunities and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
You will design market awareness approaches and support the development of technology advocacy teams at clinic or center locations, while building relationships with clinic or center managers and administrators. The role includes creating quarterly, monthly, and weekly plans to maximize customer engagement and improve face-to-face selling time, developing growth and development plans for the sales team, participating in hiring and training, and providing coaching through structured one-on-one sessions and side-by-side support. You will conduct performance appraisals, take action to address progress and results, and remain accountable for revenue, profit, cost management, and go-to-market strategy alignment, with qualifications including a bachelor’s degree, substantial capital sales experience in beauty or healthcare, sales management leadership experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, analytical and strategic thinking, and the ability to lead and operate effectively in a matrix environment.
