The client is seeking a Country Manager to drive full market ownership and accountable performance in Italy. This role will focus on revenue growth, market positioning, and operational effectiveness while serving as a key member of the international team. Responsibilities include developing and executing a strategic sales roadmap, increasing brand and service awareness through activities such as roadshows, and consistently achieving revenue targets.
The Country Manager will lead business development by establishing and nurturing sustainable long-term relationships with Italian media agencies and direct clients. The role also involves managing executive-level negotiations with senior stakeholders, providing strategic advisory throughout the client sales lifecycle, and using in-depth market intelligence to deliver actionable recommendations to senior leadership. In addition, the manager will represent the client at relevant industry events and networking functions within Italy.
The successful applicant will bring a degree or specialized certification in sales, marketing, or a related field, along with substantial digital media expertise and a demonstrated track record in sustainable client acquisition. The role requires strong proficiency in digital marketing KPIs and interest in emerging technologies, as well as native or full professional fluency in Italian and fluency in English. Preferred strengths include experience in a management role, along with exceptional organization, intrinsic motivation, a hands-on creative problem-solving approach, and the ability to prioritize long-term client satisfaction and sustainable success; the manager will also be expected to build and scale the local sales team and collaborate closely with headquarters and international colleagues.
