Description

The client is seeking a Country Manager / Head of Country Sales to lead the UK & Ireland sales team in a hands-on capacity. This role will drive growth by executing the sales and growth strategy in the UK market, focusing on enhancing market penetration and increasing sales intensity. The position will also involve engaging with existing and potential clients by showcasing technical offerings and delivering high-quality solutions aligned with market demands.

The Country Manager / Head of Country Sales will lead and develop a team of approximately 6–8 people, with responsibility for achieving ambitious targets and supporting consistent organic growth. Key duties include developing and implementing strategic plans that align with broader group expectations, maintaining an ongoing focus on innovation and effective sales management, and fostering a collaborative, results-oriented culture that encourages accountability and personal development.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales or commercial leadership within technical manufacturing, deep-tech, or precision engineering. The role typically requires strong experience in sales and business development, sales strategy execution, and team leadership, along with excellent communication skills to engage and inspire stakeholders at all levels. The client expects mastery of complex sales processes with an adaptable approach to evolving market needs, and may look for a relevant degree or equivalent plus fluent business English.
