Description

The client is seeking a creative and strategic senior-level marketing leader to oversee member-engagement marketing. In this newly created, full-time role, the Corporate VP, Marketing will directly own content creation and lead teams responsible for campaigns, publications, digital initiatives, and design, with the goal of driving member awareness and engagement through innovative, relevant, timely marketing programs. The position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and is expected to challenge the norm while bringing fresh perspectives that increase member value and association growth.

The Corporate VP, Marketing will develop and execute a defined strategy aligned with global marketing goals, partnering with business stakeholders to build marketing programs and measure business impact. Responsibilities include developing and executing marketing strategy, branding initiatives, and marketing projects that engage member constituencies; conducting market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth; and delivering branding and marketing communications, brand messaging, collateral, and digital media strategy across web and digital campaigns. The role also involves helping set and execute a 3–5 year strategic roadmap with the CMO and tracking success against related goals.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative, business-savvy leader with proven experience leading multiple teams and building marketing programs with key partners, along with strong capabilities in planning and operating at both strategic and operational levels. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, and progressively increasing communications or marketing experience with at least a decade of management experience, ideally including experience managing managers. Additional expectations include strong knowledge of marketing principles and brand management, experience deploying or improving an organization’s digital strategy, a customer/market focus, and demonstrated data-driven approaches such as segmentation and measurement; B2B market development experience and collaboration with sales, product, and IT to support revenue growth are also preferred.
