Description

The client seeks a Corporate Finance Accounting Director to oversee long-term financial health by leading financial planning, budgeting, analysis, reporting, and regulatory compliance. This role manages cash flow, prepares financial statements, and provides strategic financial guidance to senior leadership, strengthening financial performance through disciplined cost management and informed decision-making. Strong leadership and analytical skills, along with deep expertise in corporate finance and financial systems, are essential.

The director will hold corporate-level finance and accounting responsibility, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking and treasury management, grant accounting, and relationships with investors and financial institutions. The role oversees day-to-day non–real estate accounting operations and directly supervises the Corporate Controller and their team, as well as the Associate Director of Grants and Compliance and their team. Ensuring effective internal controls, systems, and procedures to safeguard organizational assets is a core responsibility.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Corporate Finance Accounting Director is also expected to partner with other finance leaders and staff to align organizational finance and accounting practices. As a member of the Senior Management Team, the director supports future growth and business planning through financial modeling and analysis, contributing to systems-level improvements in how the organization manages resources to advance its mission.
