The client is seeking a Corporate Controller to join their team, a national market leader in specialty commercial services with a focus on recurring subscription-based revenue. This role offers a highly visible leadership opportunity reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, with the chance to build scalable infrastructure in a high-growth, multi-entity environment. The Corporate Controller will be responsible for overseeing consolidated financial reporting, managing monthly close processes, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, along with a CPA designation and at least 10 years of progressive accounting leadership experience. Experience in a Controller or Assistant Controller role is required, as well as strong knowledge of US GAAP, consolidations, and internal controls in a multi-entity environment. Candidates with experience in PE-backed, recurring revenue, or service-based businesses are preferred. Additionally, ERP implementation or optimization experience is necessary, along with the ability to build, lead, and mentor accounting teams in high-growth settings.
