The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for overseeing the business and operational aspects of the church, ensuring that they align with biblical principles and the mission of the Southern Baptist Church. This includes managing finances, facilities, human resources, and administrative functions to support the ministry and ensure the church operates with integrity, efficiency, and transparency. The COO will work closely with church leadership to develop and implement strategic plans, budgets, and policies that support the overall mission and vision of the church.The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong understanding of church operations and administration, as well as a commitment to upholding biblical principles in all aspects of their work. They should have experience managing finances, facilities, and human resources in a church or non-profit setting, and be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with staff, volunteers, and church members. The COO will play a key role in ensuring the long-term sustainability and growth of the church, and will be instrumental in helping to fulfill its mission of spreading the gospel and serving the community.
