The COO will be responsible for leading and developing a team of over 3,000 employees, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance, and maintaining harmony and clear communication across different generations and styles within the organization. Key responsibilities also include reporting transparently to shareholders and the board, managing relationships with strategic clients, suppliers, and institutional stakeholders, and spearheading modernizing and efficiency initiatives during organizational transitions.
The ideal candidate will possess an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification and have substantial professional experience as a General Manager, COO, or Business Unit Leader in highly complex manufacturing companies. Experience in metalworking, automotive Tier-1, heavy manufacturing, or equivalent sectors is essential, as is a proven track record of leading organizations with over 3,000 employees and revenues exceeding USD 400 million. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in family businesses or similar structures and familiarity with organizational transitions or significant changes. Strong personal competencies include exceptional communication skills, emotional intelligence, humble and collaborative leadership, high integrity, ethics, strategic thinking, and the ability to maintain balance in relationships with ownership while exercising executive decision-making.
The position requires relocation to Guadalajara, and the candidate must be a dynamic leader with long-term ambition, deeply believing in the expansion project and keen to grow alongside the company during its transformational phase.
