The Controller will also manage relationships with external auditors, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability in financial matters.Additionally, the Controller will lead a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the department operates efficiently and effectively. They will stay current on changes in accounting standards and regulations, and implement best practices to improve financial processes and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a CPA designation, extensive experience in financial management, and a strong understanding of public-sector accounting principles. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders to achieve the organization's financial goals.
