The client in Bedford, NS is seeking a Controller to join their finance team. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of BioMedica Diagnostics, Crown Fibre Tube, and Morse Machining. This role will involve strategic planning, budgeting, financial reporting, and leading a team of accounting staff. The Controller will also play a key role in the transition from Sage 300 to NetSuite.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a CPA designation, 5+ years of management experience, and advanced Excel skills. Experience with NetSuite, Sage 300, or similar ERP systems is preferred, as well as experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for this role. The Controller will report to the Director of Finance & Shared Services and work closely with senior leadership to provide accurate financial information for decision-making.
