Description

The client is seeking a construction-savvy Project Coordinator to support multiple commercial construction projects across Central Florida. This is a hands-on role that works closely with project and construction leaders to keep critical information flowing and to help coordinate commercial projects from early planning through closeout. The position is intended for someone who is eager to take on increasing responsibility and may support future growth toward Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager responsibilities.

The role will help keep several projects moving by maintaining organized and current contract, drawings, schedule, and action-item information. You will coordinate RFIs and submittals to ensure questions, responses, approvals, and revisions reach the right stakeholders efficiently. You will also maintain dependable project records in Procore or a comparable construction management platform, including relevant logs, drawings, correspondence, and supporting documentation, and assist with subcontract and contract documentation through completion while following outstanding requirements.

You will contribute to estimating and preconstruction efforts by organizing bid information, reviewing plan sets, and supporting communication with trade partners as needed. Additional responsibilities may include supporting project startup, recurring coordination needs, and closeout package preparation across active jobs. The client expects strong written and verbal communication, strong organization and follow-through, the ability to read construction plans and specifications and understand how project documents connect to field and office work, and comfort managing competing deadlines while supporting multiple active projects. Procore experience is strongly preferred, and comparable construction management software experience may also be relevant; commercial construction experience with a general contractor is strongly preferred, along with working knowledge of contracts, drawings, specifications, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and document control.
