the client is a decentralized borrowing/lending protocol focused on creating a fair financial ecosystem by rewarding long-term liquidity providers and supporting users in using token assets. The Community Director will help shape the growth and development of community-facing digital platforms and will bring strong understanding of the crypto landscape and community needs to drive engagement and value creation.
Responsibilities include owning and advancing the social media voice, ensuring consistent purpose and messaging across all channels in line with established tone and brand principles, and building an internal marketing agency approach aimed at operational excellence. The role also involves owning and refining the community strategy, educating the team on community direction, and using community data to optimize performance while establishing and managing relevant KPIs.
Required qualifications include demonstrable success in growing and engaging communities through prior web3 projects, an in-depth understanding of how social media and community channels perform in global crypto/DeFi markets, and highly professional, disciplined execution with near-fluent, close-to-perfect English communication. Preferred strengths include an existing network of KOLs, media, and public relations partners that can support the role, along with experience leading and organizing a distributed social media/community team.
