The Head of Communications will have overall management responsibility for a new unified communications group with 16 employees, leading a creative, discerning, effective, and development-oriented organization. This role involves being the boss of bosses within the communications team and working closely with the Operations Management Team, reporting directly to the CEO. The position will oversee a wide range of activities, including international events, digital channels, media collaborations, daily interactions with Nobel laureates, and the coordination of the Nobel Prize ceremony, banquet, and announcements. Additionally, the Head of Communications will be involved in managing the Nobel Prize Museum in Stockholm and the Peace Centre in Oslo, as well as future expansion plans for a new Nobel House at Slussen in Stockholm by 2031.The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in communications management, with experience in leading teams, developing strategies, and implementing effective communication initiatives. They should possess excellent leadership skills, a creative and innovative mindset, and a passion for promoting the mission and values of the organization.
