The client is seeking a Commercial Loan Review Officer for the Oklahoma City, OK area. The role focuses on building and maintaining strong customer relationships while maintaining a high level of personal accountability. Success in this position typically relies on strong credit knowledge, analytical skills, and prior lending experience, with responsibilities spanning commercial loan account management and creditworthiness review.

Key responsibilities include developing and managing commercial loan accounts to meet lending requirements and balance profitability with risk; soliciting commercial clients and actively pursuing quality new business through calls, referrals, and cross-selling; and generating a variety of commercial and real estate loans. The role also supports deposit growth by cross-selling and promoting additional banking products, and it involves collecting and analyzing information to evaluate customer creditworthiness and the merits of existing loans, including reviewing title reports or surveys for issues and potential risks.

The Commercial Loan Review Officer will analyze applicants’ financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine loan feasibility or to route applications to a credit analyst for verification and recommendations. Additional duties include meeting with applicants to gather information and answer questions, guiding loans through approval and closing, explaining and referring related banking, insurance, and trust products or services, and representing the bank in the community through professional and civic involvement. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in finance or a related area, typically 3–5 years of experience in a commercial lending role involving business development and credit administration, with prior credit analyst experience preferred, along with excellent communication and customer service skills and proficiency with standard office applications.
