Description

The client seeks a Commercial Director to shape the next phase of commercial growth. The role focuses on developing and expanding new markets, applications, and commercial opportunities, building on the company’s existing expertise and reputation in beverage. The position requires a hands-on leader who not only sets direction but also actively develops new business, opens commercial opportunities, and guides teams in building successful growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities include developing and delivering a commercial growth strategy by identifying, validating, prioritizing, and commercializing new markets, applications, customer segments, and opportunities. The Commercial Director will support the creation of new growth pillars that contribute to the company’s evolution as a developer and producer of reusable transport solutions used across the supply chain. The role also involves introducing a structured and repeatable business development approach, translating market opportunities into concrete initiatives and investment considerations, and strengthening the organization by developing talent and commercial competencies.

As a member of the Leadership Team, the Commercial Director will act as a strategic sparring partner to the CEO and other executives on growth, market development, commercial positioning, and investment priorities. The ideal profile is a senior commercial leader with experience in industrial B2B environments where commercial growth is closely linked to investment decisions, technical added value, and long sales cycles. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in developing new markets or applications and scaling them into meaningful growth drivers, understands customer needs beyond product purchasing (including process and operational value), and can explain how opportunities are identified, evaluated, prioritized, and commercialized while translating this approach into team capabilities and processes.
